Tandem Flights

Tandem flying is a good way to try paragliding first, after take off the passenger can assume control of the glider; or just relax, admire the view and take a few photos. Aerosports provides  BHPA tandem qualified school flights in N.I., using good performance dual canopies. General tandem flights are available throughout Northern Ireland - County Antrim hills, Dungiven Glenshane Pass, NorthCoast Magilligan / Downhill, & The Mournes from small hills such as Shanes Hill up to our highest mountain Slieve Donard The normal charge for a 30 - 45min flight approx is just £90.00 all in, however dual flights may be included with daily training at no extra charge provided conditions are suitable and the student desires a tandem flight to complement training, (Slieve Donard is extra). Boots with ankle support are necessary, and old practical clothing that may get dirty is a good idea however a flying suit can be provided, and gloves are a good idea to protect and keep the hands warm.

I am able to take passengers weighing between 32 and 115 kg (5.0 and 18 stone). We can fly throughout the year, but Spring, Summer, & Autumn are best, and some good crisp winter flights are possible even in snow.
